A Diabolical Spit Bubble Battle

 Cousin JimJim wants revenge

After he became a bit unhinged.

He knows about the gremlin toy

That I used as a ploy.

 

What is that he's looking through?

Did Grandpa give him something too?

Do I dare take a peek

Or will it make me shriek?

 

You look like a poopy diaper.
 
You smell like one.
 
I glare at Cousin JimJim.  He glares right back.
 
I wish this diabolical dude had a plan.  I wish I had one.  I truly do.
 
But, I didn't know that Cousin JimJim was coming over.  It was a complete surprise.  A knock at the door.  A ringing of the bell.  Even Mommy seems a bit surprised.
 
"I'm sorry I don't have any coffee ready," she says in the kitchen.  "If only I KNEW you were coming over."
 
Meanwhile, JimJim pops a spit bubble.  One so big that even I'm impressed.  
 
Bet you can't beat that.
 
Oh, yeah?
 
I get ready and blow a spit bubble twice as big.
 
POP!
 
You think that's good?  Watch this!
 
Cousin JimJim takes a deep breath.  Then he blows a spit bubble.  Higher!  Higher it goes!
 
POP!!!
 
Eww!
 
It pops all over his face.  It's so gross that even I want to hurl.  I laugh and I laugh. All the while JimJim's face turns a bright red hue.  
 
"WWAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!  WWAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"  He screams.
 
His mommy comes running, following right behind is mine.
 
"West, what did you do?"  Mommy scolds and I drop my jaw in shock.  "Don't give me that look, young man.  I know all about you."
 
Cousin JimJim's smirk widens.  At the same time, my glare tightens.  As soon as our mommies walk away, he shows something new to display.
 
Bet you've never seen this before.
 
No, I haven't.  But, I can't tell him that.
 
"I see Jimmy has a new kaleidoscope," Mommy beams.
 
Jimmy?!  Haha!
 
The smirk drops, but JimJim doesn't miss a beat.  You look through it, see.
 
He brings the kaleidoscope up to his eye.  He spins it around.  His "oohs" and "ahhs" all abound.
 
I want a look!
 
I reach and I beg.
 
Here you go.  He hands it over and I'm so excited.  It isn't till after I'm looking through it that I remember this is Cousin JimJim and...
 
That's when I remember seeing this very one at Grandpa's!
 
KABANG!
 
A great big explosion has me shrieking and squealing.  The kaleidoscope kerpanged and kerploud, but...  Was it all just some noise?
 
I screamed because of some noise?!?!?!?
 
Cousin JimJim points and laughs.
 
Before he finishes, I grab the infamous gremlin and...
 
"RRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!"
 
"WWWAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"
